Research Experience:
Guo Xuan, Ph. D., is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Plant Nutrition and Resources, Beijing Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. The research direction is water environmental protection and treatment, and the specific research content is the new eco-friendly sewage treatment technology. In the past three years, 11 papers have been published by the first author/correspondent, of which 6 papers have been included in SCI, including Bioresource Technology, Environmental Polution and other journals, with a cumulative impact factor of 26.259. He presided over three scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Science Foundation, the Beijing Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences Innovation Capacity Building Project and the UNDP Project. In recent years, he has developed the optimization strategy of activated sludge process and the directional control method of enhanced pollutant removal, as well as the wastewater treatment system combining Myriophyllum aquaticum and activated sludge.
